Kari Gets An Award!

CFSW Awards Notice

This past week Crawford County Community Fund made their final decisions on Award Recipients. The De Soto area community really represented this year with our Lions and Great River Roadhouse receiving Leadership awards for the work they do in and for Crawford County.

At the individual level, our own Library Director Kari Sanding also received the Leadership award! Her contributions to both Vernon and Crawford counties have been many, and the library has seen significant gains since she accepted the Director’s position in the summer of 2023.

From overhauling the collection so the community has new titles to enjoy, to keeping the library engaging for members, it’s been a labor of love, with many unseen hours and effort. 

Congratulations Kari! A very well deserved award and we appreciate you so much!
